Section One – Steve Worthen
Section One committee member, Steve Worthen, delivered his first message at the tender age of five when his pastor allowed him to preach one Sunday night.  He took his text from Acts 2:38, not because he could read, but because it was the only scripture he knew by heart.  Although no one received the Holy Ghost that night, he left quite an impression as many folks still remember his proclamation that they “shouldn’t watch Bozo Circus!!”
Steve currently resides in Cedar Lake where he is Pastor of the Apostolics of Cedar Lake.  He is married to a long-suffering jewel, Nikcole, and they have three children, Austin (18), Alysha (15) and Ariana (12).  All of them are actively involved in the work of God. He has worked within the local church in multiple capacities since his teens, while serving with his father in Valparaiso. He has been blessed to have served in four different districts: California, Florida, Illinois and Indiana since 1990.
Steve has completed his Master’s program in Information Technology and enjoys spending time with his family as well as travelling.
